Symantec Localization QA department is looking for intern students, a proper candidate will be in master degree study with IT related major, and having the time to work full-time for at least 3 months, the detailed position requirements and responsibilities are listed below:

Symantec Localization intern program
Assignment Title: QA Intern
Degree required: Master
Major: IT related
Location: Beijing

Requirements:
- Able to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines;
- Personal drive for excellence and high work standards;
- Fluent in oral English and good English writing skill;
- Knowledge of Windows OS, networking concepts & technologies, and information security.
- Knowledge of programming, software testing and configuration management.
- At least 3 months full-time working.
- Korean or Japanese capability is a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Testing English products as well as localized Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean products, mainly black box testing;
- Define/create/execute test cases, report bugs professionally, work with development team to resolve product issues, follow up issues until they were resolved;
- Identify, troubleshoot and work around problem areas of products with minimal supervision;
- Ability to solve problems by working together with other teams, plus priority setting, time management, perseverance.
