Welcome to the Recruitment section of Euro 2008 SA.

We are based in the centre of Nyon (Western Switzerland), close to UEFA’s
Headquarters. In addition, tournament offices are located in Berne
(Switzerland) and Vienna (Austria).

Building a project team
Each year, we hire approximately 50 people to work predominantely in Nyon
or in one of our tournament offices. In the months leading up to the
tournament, recruiting activities will reach a peak, as an additional 150
people will be hired to complete our team and raise the workforce up to
approximately 300.
Please note that all our employment contracts are time-limited and end
after the tournament.

Recruiting volunteers
In addition to our staff we will need around 5000 volunteers to help us
during the tournament. The recruitment process started in summer 2007.
Applications can only be submitted via the internet until the end of

Our recruitment process
Should you be successful all the way through our recruitment process, we
take you from your initial application to a formal offer in about six weeks:

On-line application form completed and submitted by you
Application carefully reviewed by our recruitment team
On-line assessment (optional) ; instructions are sent by e-mail
Phone interview (optional), during about 30 minutes, based on key skills
for

the role you applied for, often conducted in English ;
Face-to-Face interview, with a recruiter and the hiring manager
Referencing; all our offers are subject to satisfactory pre-employment
references.

Unsuccessful applicants will be notified:

Within 4 weeks after submitting their application
Within 1 week after phone interview
Within 1 week after face to face interview
