Essential Job Accountability
- Communicate between development and customers for escalated support issues.
- Determine severities and priorities of customer problems.
- Conduct an in depth analysis and/or re-creation of customer problems within the BMC Support guidelines.
- Document and provide fix or work-around solutions to customer problems.
- Mentoring and education to all levels as required.
- Identification of relevant product and skill courses.
- Sharing information/best practices amongst the team.
- Keeping management aware of potential areas for product, services and education sales.
- Identify relevant documentation or dump/log information to be able to resolve customer problems.
- Administer and maintain Operating Systems and products on test systems.
Competency Required
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills for direct interaction with customers and other BMC personnel
· Fluent in Japanese and English |
