Position: IMS PC Client Software Engineer
No. of Openings: 3

Basic Qualifications:
1. Master degree or above in telecommunication, EE, Computer Science, etc
2. Proficient in C/C++ programming under Windows platform & VC 2005
3. Knowledge and understanding of the Object Oriented Design Patterns
4. Understanding of telecommunication network
5. Fluent English in reading, writing, listening and speaking (CET-6 is preferred)
6. Good teamwork and interpersonal communication skill

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience of GUI design of Windows software, experiences with MFC.
2. Knowledge with SIP, SIP programming experience is preferred.

1. IMS/IPTV Interactive Multimedia Application Research: 2 interns Urgent!
Requirements:
(1) One year project experience in Java SIP Servlet-based application development is a must; or
(2) One year project experience in JSP/javaScript/HTTP Servlet-based web application development is a must;
(3) Knowledge of IMS and IPTV is a plus;

2. Fixed/Mobile Converged Multimedia Application Research: 2 intern Urgent!
Requirements:
(1) One year project experience in Java SIP Servlet-based application development is a must; or
(2) Project experience in Java Web Services and Axis2 programming is a must
(3) Experience of PHP/Javascript programming is a plus
(4) Knowledge of video codecs(H.264/MPEG4) is a plus

3. IMS Multimedia Application PC Client Research: 2 interns Urgent!

(1) One year Visual C++ project experience using Visual Studio 2005 is a must
(2) One year network programming experience is a must

4. IMS Web Client Research: 1 intern Urgent!
Requirements:
(1) One year project experience in Ajax/Javascript/Flash-based web application development is a must
(2) One year project experience in HTTP Servlet-based web application development is a must
(3) Knowledge of XML/XCAP is a plus

5. Location Server Project: 2 interns Urgent!
Requirement:
(1) Experience with Java/JSP-Portal development
(2) Experience with Web Services using Axis2
(3) Experience with database programming


6. Web service-based application design and development: 2 interns Urgent!
Requirements:
(1)Familiar with Java programming
(2)Familiar with Web Services

7. Mapweb Project : 2 intern Urgent!
Requirements:
(1) Be very familiar with JSP, Java Script, Ajax, HTML and XML, Knowledge of Java Applet is a plus.
(2) Be familiar with J2EE, Servlet, EJB,JDBC,MySQL,Linux,J2ME, WAP and Tomcat
(3) Be familiar with SIP is a plus
(4) Knowledge of Web Service, JDO, CVS and MVC is a plus
(5) Experience with HTML browser/parser development is a plus.

8. Location-based application : 2 interns Urgent!
Requirements:
(1) Familiar with Symbian, J2ME, or Windows Mobile programming
(2) Project experience of programming with Symbian, J2ME or Windows Mobile
(3) (Optional) Experience with Linux is a plus

9. Routing Protocol Implementation for ASON: 1 intern Urgent!
Requirements:
(1) Familiar with ASON/GMPLS architecture
(2) Familiar and experience with OSPF-TE
(3) Experience with Linux, especially networking programming
(4) Experience with c/c++ programming
(5) Good ability in writing documents in English
(6) Familiar with DDRP is a PLUS
(7) Experience with RSVP-TE is a PLUS

10. Research on Carrier-Grade Web services: 2 interns Urgent!
Requirements:
(1) Familiar with Java programming
(2) Familiar with Web Services
(3) Knowledge & experience on testing is a plus

11. Video Streaming system: 1 intern Urgent!
Requirements:
(1) Familiar with multimedia, video streaming systems
(2) Familiar with C/C++, MFC, or .NET programming
(3) Knowledge of J2EE and Web service
(4) Knowledge of panorama is a plus.


12. Web Service & Web Service based Applications: 1 intern
Requirements:
(1) Master degree in computer science, Electronic Engineering or related areas
(2) 2~3 years experience in Java programming
(3) Familiar with Web Services (Axis, XFire or JAXWS etc.)
(4) Experience in network programming
(5) Knowledge in Parlay/Parlay X as a plus
(6) Good English skill
(7) Good teamwork and communication skill

13. Intelligent Distribution of Advertisements: 1 intern
Requirements:
(1) One year project experience in JSP, Servlet, struts, JDBC, MySQL
(2) Project experience with Javascript and Ajax
(3) Be familiar with HTML/CSS web page design
(4) Be skillful with Java programming by using Eclipse, MyEclipse

14. ULS Project: 1 intern
Requirements:
(1) Graduates and/or under-graduates students from CS, EE and other related departments
(2) At least 1 year progamming experience in VisualC++; familiar with Win32 GUI programming
(3) Knowledge of instant messaging protocols, e.g. jabber and sip
(4) Good communication skill, team spirit and understanding capability

15. Wireless Indoor Positioning Research: 1 intern
Requirements:
(1) Graduate or doctoral students in communications or applied mathematics.
(2) Familiar with fundamental detection and estimation algorithms, such as ML, MAP, MMSE, etc.
(3) Familiar with the propagation characteristics of wireless channels.
(4) Familiar with computer simulation by C/C++ and Matlab.
(5) Knowledge of wireless LAN standards (e.g., IEEE 802.11) is a plus.
(6) Experience in writing English papers is a plus.
