Danfoss is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Job responsibilities:
• To develop mechanical solutions in product development projects from concept to running production. Work with cross-function team to deliver a quality and cost effective new product
• To participate in the choice of mechanical concepts, technologies and production methods
• To ensure the mechanical and thermal design of products
• To assist in selecting new suppliers
Skills required:
• Hold a degree in mechanical engineering or similar(Master or Ph.D)
• Have experience of and flair for electro-mechanical development including EMC aspects
• Are familiar with 3D CAD tools and data transfer between EE and ME
• Must have in depth knowledge of manufacturing processes including thermoplastic molding, die-casting, metal stamping, extrusion, tolerancing
• Are enterprising, systematic and purposeful
• Are capable of working independently and in teams
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Are well versed in English communication
Skills preferred:
• Experience with thermal solution.
• Knowledge of new product development procedure.
• Understand UL and CE approvals requirements.
• Experience with FEA
