Responsibilities
This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing SW for layer 2/layer 3 Ethernet Routing switch products in direct support of customer requirements and needs. The position skills emphasize experience in an embedded environment using a multi-tasking kernel. Activities include all phases of design including specification, Coding, and Integration; reproducing customer environment and solve problems. Interactions with other functional groups such as the sustaining test group, customer support group and manufacturing may be required.
Required Skills
- Candidate must have at least 5+ years of experience in embedded SW design
- Strong experience with a real time operating system such as Wind Rivers VxWorks.
- Strong Unix/C coding and debugging skills
- 2 years experience with LAN based products such as Ethernet Switches & Routers is required. Experience with L2/L3 protocols, BSP, device driver is a plus.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently to solve problems
- Bachelor degree or above in Computer Engineering/Sciences or Electrical/Electronics
- Good English/Chinese communication
