Responsibilities:
-Based on the Digital Signal Processing techniques, use simulation tool to build the specific model and environment. Study the Digital TV broadcasting Terrestrial standards and design the PHY Receiver modules.
-Design the IC architecture and provide Technical Specifications
-Assist the ASIC engineer to realize the detailed circuit, take the responsibility in IC verification and debugging.
Requirements:
-Knowledge and experience on Analog/Digital TV broadcasting system, including the Digital Signal processing techniques used in the Demodulator, e.g., Equalizer, Carrier Synchronization, Clock Synchronization, Channel estimation, etc.
-Practiced on algorithm simulation with Matlab/ C or SystemC tools.
-Familiar with different IEEE standards, especially the PHY layer architecture including channel demodulation and FEC decode; knowledge on MAC/DLL layers protocol is a plus.
-Master/PhD in EE or Communication Engineering required; if have practice in designing related projects, Bachelors are also welcomed.
-Experiences on the following projects will be preferred: 1394, PCI-express, DMB-TH, DVB-T/H, WiMax
