B、Purpose of the Job

The purpose of the job during the whole Programme is to build foundations for a future career within ALSTOM, and more specifically:

• Get a global understanding of ALSTOM business specificities and of the Company in an accelerated manner

• Learn and develop finance skills and processes within ALSTOM

• Develop network within ALSTOM

2、Position in the Organisation

A、Organisation Structure

The overall Manager for each Graduate Trainee is the SVP Finance or nominated person (VP level) of the allocated Sector

B、Organisational Reporting

• During the Graduate Trainee Programme the permanent reporting line to the SVP Finance or nominated person (VP level) of the allocated sector.

• The day to day reporting during the assignments is to the local Assignment Manager who will also perform the objective setting and the evaluation for/after the six months.

C、Network & Links

Finance Managers at all levels of the organisation, HR Management, Line Management, Site Management

3、Mission

A、Responsibilities

• Successfully complete rotation assignments and demonstrate skills and performance

• Attend all training sessions of the Programme

• Share development needs and assignment concerns with appropriate person (Immediate Manager, Programme Manager)

• Share experience with other Graduate Trainees

• Display the expected values of ALSTOM

• Take ownership of own career and development during the programme as well as after the completion

• Support recruitment of new/ future graduates

B、Accountabilities

Depending on the job of the “training assignment”

C、Measurement

• Performance on completion of each Assignment

• Wrap up meeting after completion of Graduate Trainee Programme (compiling all previous assignments)

4、Candidate Requirements

A、Educational Requirements

University Degree Qualified (equivalent to Bachelor level or Master level) with Finance related studies

B、Knowledge / Experience

• Time abroad

• Extracurricular activities during studies

• Fluent in minimum two languages – English mandatory
