Job Title:Hardware Engineer

Primary Job Function:
This job position requires that the candidate has at least more than 3 years of experiences in hardware development at board level design and knowledge of high speed system design and PCB layout. The candidate has to have solid fundamental knowledge of CPU local bus controller; system cache/memory controller; DC-DC power controller/converter; PCI bus controller; I2C bus controller; Ethernet MAC/PHY controllers and SPI. This role focuses on the electronic circuit design, test and debugging for the microprocessor based products.
Qualification:
Must
(1)B.S/M.S. or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a major university.
(2)Experience in digital circuits and micro processor HW/SW development and design.
(3)At least familiar with PowerPC or MIPS.(either one, PowerPC preferred)
(4)Experience designing, verifying and debugging digital circuits and low frequency analog circuits.
(5)Printed circuit board design experience, including experience with high speed signal integrity design.
(6)Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscope, logic analyzer, signal generator, etc.
(7)Good communication skill.
Want
(1)Experience in Ethernet Switch or Router.
(2)Experience in ASIC and/or FPGA, CPLD development,Verilog/VHDL.
(3)Mentor design tools is a plus
(4)Database tools such as CVS or Clearcase.
