Lovells Beijing Representative Office is looking for four to five paralegals among students who will graduate in the fall of 2008 from prestigious universities in China. Students with an interest in building a career in international law are encouraged to apply. Fluent English language skills are required.
1. Brief Introduction to Lovells
With over three thousand people operating from 26 offices in Asia, Europe and the United States, Lovells is one of a small number of truly international law firms. We advise many of the world’s largest corporations, financial institutions and governmental organisations. We regularly act on complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions as well as some of the most high-profile commercial disputes.
Lovells has a long operating history in China. Since our establishment in 1992, Lovells Beijing Representative Office has been advising clients on doing business in the Peoples Republic of China. Currently, we have three resident partners, two consultants and more than a dozen foreign qualified lawyers with a total staff of more than 50 members.

2. Job Description
The work will be full time, including legal research, translation, legal drafting and other legal support. Intensive training will be offered to new paralegals during the first year of employment.
3. Education Requirement
A bachelor’s degree in Law or English major is required.
4. Location
The location will be Oriental Plaza No.1 East Chang An Avenue, Beijing.
5. Start Date of This Position
Paralegals can begin work immediately.
