Job Title: Sr. Engineer (Project: Headlights)

Position Summary
We are searching for a strong Sr. developer working on software development on Adobe’s product. The position is 60/40 of design/coding and may extend the career in the future to either higher level of technical position or project lead who involves more on project management.

Work Scope includes
• Responsible for the designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging for software enhancements, new products and code libraries.
• Interact with users to define requirements and identify necessary modifications.
• Communicate clearly with the team and management to achieve goals.
• Understand and find solutions to customer (Adobe developers and product managers) issues

Required Knowledge and Skills
• 3+ years experience in software development and system analysis
• Strong experience in C++; C#, Java Script and Action Script is a plus

The Adobe Headlights team is looking for a strong white box quality engineer to join us in building the next release of Opt-in system to measure and analyze application usage data. As the team charted to deliver the worlds most widely distributed software, we have a unique challenge in front of us. Responsibilities
- Create aggressive automation test plan with quantifiable goals and ways of measuring progress against them;
- Create test scripts for automating testing;
- Analyze automation results and write detailed reports that accurately isolate the problem;
- Interface with US based Tools team to leverage and build automation infrastructure;
- Work closely with development to understand underlying technology and find ways of catching bugs before they reach gray box team;

Job Title: Sr. Developer/Developer for Service Manager (Project: SM)

Position Summary
Computer Scientist responsible for design and implementation of the next generation Service Manager product. The Service Manager is a Creative Suite product used to manage extensions designed to enhance the functionality of multiple Adobe products. The Service Manager provides a means for Adobe’s developer community to share a common installation and management tool for product extensions. This person will be responsible for architectural design, implementation, maintenance, enhancement and delivery of the Service Manager application. The responsibility will include understanding the domain and existing solutions to create innovative enhancements to make the product a leader in the drive to encourage Adobe’s developer community. This person must also provide technical consultation for other engineers in the development, testing and release engineering roles.

Responsibilities
Solve the developer community’s needs by designing, developing and maintaining the Service Manager product. Included in this responsibility is collaborating with online solution teams relating to the Service Manager product, such as Adobe Exchange.
Provide technical advice and guidance for teams integrating the Service Manager into other Adobe products, such as Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
Provide technical advice and guidance for other developers, testers and release engineers on the Service Manager project.
Identify key areas for further enhancement of Adobe’s offerings to the Creative Suite developer community and provide solutions for those areas. This includes both client system applications such as the Service Manager as well as online community resources such as Adobe Exchange and similar initiatives.

Knowledge & Skills
Experience should include 5+ years for Sr.Developer(3+ years for Developer) or more of experience in software engineering, including product development, consultation, and architectural design. This role will involve working closely with others on the Service Manager team, requiring good communication skills and the ability to productively guide others’ technical tasks. This position requires an energetic, experienced self-starter with a history of successfully delivering projects of significant technical complexity. Ideal candidate has proven ability to problem solve quickly in demanding situations involving competing requirements, multiple office locations and hard deadlines as well as a deep understanding of computer science principles. Experience with multiple scripting languages and development environments preferred. Although not strictly required, preference is given to candidates willing to travel to multiple Adobe offices around the globe should the need arise.

Qualifications
Excellent problem solving, software design and software development skills, the ability to be extremely detail oriented and to use analysis to drive decisions.
Proven experience designing and maintaining complex technical projects to successful completion.

Skills

• Grasps the concepts and tools necessary to maintain and create automation systems for localized operating systems and products.
• Understands how to design test cases to minimize the need for manual analysis of test output.
• Expert use of the product with expanded customer knowledge.
• In-depth understanding of the customer perspectives and needs for owned software components.
