Job Summary:
The Engagement Representative (E-Rep) is a project’s single point of contact for all OG resource needs, and to facilitate the sourcing process with the resource pools to fill open roles. The E-Rep works closely with his/her client project executives to help shape and manage resource plans on an on-going basis, works closely with resource pool HR Reps and resource pool Sourcing Experts to make recommendations and suggest solutions within client accounts.
The E-Reps is aligned to one or more Operating Groups supporting one or multiple projects varying in size and complexity. More senior engagement reps may oversee other E-Reps.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling Management
• Participate in new business meetings to understand and respond to upcoming resource requirements.
• Supports client in defining and filling resource requirements including counseling on resource mix, pyramids, contractor usage, outside availability, etc.
• Enter demand into scheduling tools with necessary details and assign the role to the appropriate resource pool. Including the Priority Client and Priority Role information, as applicable. Ensure this is information is kept up to date.
• Supports identification and evaluation of candidates for open resource requests including sourcing candidates from the Consulting, Services, Solutions On/Off Shore and Contractor workforces.
• Work with project executives to modify requests if candidates are not available and propose creative alternatives when preferred resource options are not available.
• Partner with resource pool HR Reps by representing the project team’s point of view.
• Work with project executive and OU/CSG HR Lead to determine Priority Clients and manage the weekly meeting activities/status for these high priority client needs.
• Work with project executive to determine Priority Roles, and to change priorities as needed.
• Support processes related to project roll-offs/extensions.
Business Strategy and Service Delivery
• Partners with project executives to streamline scheduling approach and process to consistently meet service delivery requirements.
• Accountable for ongoing management of effective client service relationship for accounts he/she supports by acting as main point of contact for project executives.
• Communicates with project executives regularly to understand business environment, new business pipeline, priorities, type of work, teams, roles, and scope to support client needs as appropriate.
• Initiates and designs scheduling process improvements.
• Understand and provide advice on Accenture organization, workforces, and resource management policies and practices.
Performance Management and Professional Development
• Execute major HR processes working with APSSC (e.g. annual and midyear promotions, annual performance management, compensation and salary administration) according to geographic and entity guidelines.
• Support career counselors and supervisors in the area of career development by educating them on the appropriate career development model/training information.
Employee Relations and Employee Transitions
• Serve as an escalation point for personnel and employee relations issues and provide support and advice, as needed.
• Educate executives on HR policy, to assist with compliance to the company’s policies.
General HR
• Review results of People Surveys and work with customer leadership to affect change
• Team with other HR Leads to share best practices and knowledge capital

• Understand and balance the impact of scheduling decisions on all of the business outcomes (e.g., overdue demand, productivity, labor cost, employee engagement, etc.).
• Understands staffing guidelines to apply in helping to shape resource plans, pyramids, etc.
• Understands marketplace trends

• Knowledge of primary HR processes (e.g. Scheduling, Performance Management, Employee Relations)
• Understanding Employment Law and Accenture policies
• Understanding of project financial structures and models and their implications

• Understand and appreciate a project’s perspective on unfilled demand, and be able to communicate status, challenges, action/support needed from the project and resource pool in order to fill demand.
