Job location: Beijing, China
Report to: R&D Manager of Agilent World Wide Service and Solution Unit
The job is to ensure that Service and Solution Unit (SSU) calibration products meet high standards for measurement and reporting quality. To extend our measurement capabilities and assist Agilent Technologies being recognized as premier measurement product and calibration supplier in the industry.Work closely with R&D software development teams to ensure that tests are designed with sufficiently low measurement uncertainties.Design and/or evaluates measurement techniques that will be automated in software. Calculate measurement uncertainties for specific tests and works with the development teams to ensure that the uncertainties are reported properly. Review R&D products, and participate in software validation activities, to ensure that the final delivered product meets all customer requirements and Agilent standards for quality. Ensure that measurement validation evidence is properly collected and archived. Ensure SSU calibration services meet all applicable standards requirements. Advise project team on specific metrology requirements that are relevant to product development. Provide quality and metrology consulting, coordination, and support services as required and act as a technical resource to delivery, customers, and commercial services. Represent SSU in customer, internal, and external audits and during registrar and/or accreditation assessments.
The job may require:
MS Degree in Electronics or 8 years equivalent experience. Knowledge of calibration techniques. Good English communication skills. Good communication skills with others working in different countriesKnowledge of regional and ISO quality systems and standards requirements (Z540, 17025, etc.).Knowledge of statistical & mathematic techniques.Discipline specialities – Electronic, Dimensional Demonstrated ability and interest in quickly mastering new technologies .RF and Microwave knowledge.RF and Microwave knowledge
