Responsibility:
- Working with Thomson French document writer for document translation, i.e. manual, handbook, GUI etc.
- Coordinate with translation outsourcing unit for document distribution and collection
- Validate and compare the translation document and original document
- Buildup and release the translation document as Thomson internal procedure.
The following tools will be used:
- Adobe FrameMaker
- Microsoft Office
- Visio
- Multisites environment with frequent communication in English with the rest of the team located in France
Qualifications:
- Professional English translation skills and experience
- 2-3 years working experience in IT industry and at least 1 year in Digital TV area.
- Excellent skills on using documentation tools.
- Fluent English in listening, speaking, reading and writing, and French speaking is the key advantage
- Good knowledge in software professional English translation experience
- Good knowledge in Digital TV encode, compression and transmission is strong support.
- Team spirit and good communication skills are mandatory to insure efficient link with the team.
