SIG SAC is a trading company based in Lima, Peru. As the member company of ALGI group (ww***net[点击查看]), we mainly do import and export business between China and Latin America. We have regional offices in New York, Chennai, Rome, Bangkok, Karachi, Dhaka, Shenzhen, and Shanghai as well.

With the development of the business growing in China, we are now seeking for a Merchandising Assistant in Shanghai office. Both part-time and full-time applicants can be accepted if you can meet our requirement and timetable. The applicant's responsibility is mainly to communicate with purchaser, clients and factories, and to coordinate product purchasing and delivery.

Brief Job Description:
-   Assist the Superior to gather market information regarding the product's characteristics, style and function as well as to identify and advice the customers of upcoming trends. Online, desk and phone call research is need.

-   Coordinate and monitor the entire process of developing the sample and to ensure that the sample is made according to the customers' specification.

-   Review the quotations and price negotiation on behalf of the customer with an aim to meet a target price.

-    Coordinate the submissions of samples from the vendor to the customer and to ensure that they meet the requirements.

-    Understand customers' requirement and to communicate comments and suggestions between the customer and the vendor.

-    Coordinate with internal QCs and the vendors to ensure that the product's quality meet with the customers' quality standard.

-    Manage the entire order process and to ensure the quality control, shipment arrangement, timely delivery to customer and payment follow up.

Candidate Requirement:
-      Oral and written English, should be enough to fluently communicate with English native speakers
-      Good communication and personal skill
-      Major in trading is a plus.
-      Experience in relevant areas is a plus.

Salary:
Basic salary 2,000-2,500 yuan per month plus commission.

Working Hours Timetable:
Working hours will be flexible, specially if part time is agreed.  The candidate should be willing to arrange for few hours work within the clients' time zone (occasionally work one or 2 hours in the evening).
