Application HW Verification Engineer

•Baseband Verification Engineer*

Main Task
Communicate platform requirements to Platform Planning/platform provider from a product perspective.
Secure product calibration by verifying the default data in 19062 (GDSF).

Guide R&D with development of 1524 from verification perspective.
Create verification reports.
Perform design review and give input to Design for Manufacturing (DFM) work.
Verify the performance of Product/Test System and filtering of information/statistical data.

Specify Production ITP commands.
Update test criteria based on test results and give input to R&D on critical design parameters and to Test Developers on Test System related issues.

Verify ITP commands.
Adjust default data, 19062 GDSF (input to R&D).

Educate Test Developers and Trouble Shooters on the product design.
Continuously drive the verification work (for software, instruments and products) regarding yield improvements, quality improvements, test time reduction and costs reduction.

Support Test Developers (e.g., assist with software requirements (1524), participate in the design of test stations, provide input on station calibration methods).
Educate production sites in the product and it’s test methods.

Give input to test fixture requirements.
Provide input to synchronization of products within the same heartbeat regarding test methods, requirements and issues/problems.

Handle communication with instrument suppliers regarding technical issues for ongoing projects.
Support HV site (e.g., implementation of test systems).

Give input to the Test Instrument Coordinator regarding strategic instrument issues.

Act as coordinator of platform DMS issues for a function group (e.g. access, audio) by being the receiver of issues, lead analyze work and assign them to the appropriate discipline (e.g. test development, ITP) within the group.
Follow up and communicate DMS issue status to the product projects in the working gp. forums

Others:
Write Test Implementation specification (152 41).
•Each Verification Engineer has one of the Specific Functional Competencies.
•Exeption: Acoustics Ver. Eng. has both Acoustics and Baseband.
