Server Administrator:
The candidate will be part of China ITEC team, and will be responsible for participating in both local and regional Unix and Windows Server team. The candidate will be located in BJ.


--- Technical Ability
• Understanding of Active Directory
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft Servers products
• Strong Knowledge of VB Scripting
• Knowledge of VMWare would be a plus.
• Knowledge of Unix especially Solaris 8 to 10, Linux RH.
• Scripting experience (Unix shell & Perl)
• Legato Networker knowledge would be a plus.

• Possess the ability to communicate to technical and non-technical staff in verbal/written form in English fluently.
• Have commitment and a strong team spirit, both locally and regionally.
• Be willing to work in a multinational environment.
• Possess self management skills and initiative to work proactively.
• Have strong commitment in order to work long hours.
• The ability to learn on the job and be open to technologies evolutions.
• Have good communication, presentation and project management skills.


--- The Role
The candidate will be required to:
• Handle on a regular basis a regional support for Windows Server team.
• Handle the system administration of the Windows Server environment in China.
• Handle the Active Directory within the Regional Team.
• Handle system upgrades and migrations, in accordance with latest technology trends and the Bank’s global standards.
• Work in a regional team and be ready to support other locations
• Work under pressure and fast-paced environment to resolve issues quickly and ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest patches.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as well as training of users as and when required.
• Install/Maintain/Support Unix based servers and workstation in China.
• Work in close relationships with other Unix administrators, to ensure Regional coherency of Unix set ups and the leverage of work globally done on Unix systems.


--- Reporting
The candidate will report to the Banks China Head of IT infrastructure (is an European guy). He will also have a functional reporting to the Regional Manager for Servers and Storage.


--- Position requirements:

1. Fluent English communication skill is a must, both in written and verbal.

2. 3~6 yrs relevant working experience in MNC environment.
