We now invite applications for the following position in our Information Services Department:

Position: IT Officer (Unix Platform, SUN Solaris, Red Hat Linux Platform)
Responsibilities:
1、Perform system studies, analysis, design, administration and implementation of computer systems to meet user requirements as according to the IT roadmap
2、Maintain and enhance existing systems to ensure smooth operation to achieve SLA
3、Conduct technology research
4、Manage and deliver technical projects in timely manner and meet company standard
5、Develop procedure and manuals to enhance operational efficiency
6、Coordinate with vendors for purchasing, delivery and licensing of both infrastructure hardware and software
7、Supervise, train and develop subordinates and ensure good teamwork, morale and discipline are maintained

Requirements:
1、Degree in IT or related discipline
2、2+ years of IT experience in infrastructure set up and support
3、Hands-on experience in SUN Solaris, and Red Hat Linux platform, SUN JES Application Server, JES Message Queue and SUN Directory Server
4、Good working knowledge on Veritas Netbackup and Veritas VCS, Veritas Filesystem
5、Familiar with Sun Cluster, Portal Server, JavaScript, Unix Shell Script, and XML.
6、Able to work independently with minimum supervision
7、Working experience in AIX is an added advantage
8、Good command of English. Cantonese speaking is an added advantage
