SUMMARY: Organize, implement and follow-up HS projects and related programs to the conformance of company philosophies and business objectives in coordination with Sectors. Supervise related personnel in the accomplishment of defined activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Help Delegation EHS department to develop a 5 minutes video addressed to all Asia Pacific site to the International EHS Day on May 15th. The video will have the following subject:
-Saint-Gobain Business situation in AP
- The importance of working on EHS subject
-Communication with employees.
The aim of the video is to raze people awareness on EHS issues in a manufacturing environment and help communication the company culture.
The intern will need to understand the company culture, EHS subjects; collect other company communication material on the same subject; write the manuscript, go on site together with the media contractor to supervisor the work and give help when needed, supervise the production of the video in English and Chinese version, proceed to the sending to all AP sites.
2. Implement China Delegation EHS audit and Business Control Plan follow-up by:
Contact audited sites, read and analyze all audit reports, ask for more information, go on site to check on an evidence based the level of corrective/preventive actions done (70% of the time in meeting room asking the site to present their achievements, 30% of time on site washing the reality).
Make audit/BCP follow-up report; send it to related BU and Sector.
Make audit/BCP follow-up reporting (showing the level of progress following the audit).
3. Coordinate safety related project such as:
a) Machine Compliance audit
b) China Delegation safety procedure manual
c) Safety audits and auditors team for construction sites
d) Best practices manual for construction site
4. Help Delegation team when EHS meeting, training and missions, when related to project on going, and back office work (Monthly News Letter writing and collect information, Intranet updating when needed, poster designing, etc…). |
