InStep is Infosys’ Global Internship Program for undergraduate, graduate and PhD students from top academic institutions around the world. As part of the Infosys family, you are given a chance to work on high impact assignments ranging from live technology projects to cutting-edge research in our offices in India. While you explore new and emerging technologies, you gain unparalleled international work experience and build a global network of colleagues. InStep runs through the year to suit academic calendars across the globe.

Interns with an educational background in Computer Science and Engineering have previously worked in areas such as Research, Programming, Architecture, IT, Platforms, Knowledge Engineering, BPM, J2EE, QoS, Software Engineering, Collaboration, Legacy Modernization, Security, Information Management, CRM, Mobile Computing, SOA, P2P, Enterprise Mobility, Performance Engineering, Web Services, Application QoS, Grid Computing, Wireless, Pervasive Computing and Web 2.0 in units such as Software Engineering and Technology Labs (SETL), Product Engineering and Design (PED) and Product Lifecycle and Engineering Solutions (PLES). Internship Locations: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mysore (cities in India)
Internship Duration: Average internship duration is 8-12 weeks. The exact duration depends on the requirements of the project and the intern’s availability.
Positions available between April 2008 and March 2009.
Compensation: Comprehensive compensation package that includes return airfare, allowances for accommodation, food, travel and a monthly stipend, along with opportunities for interaction with senior management.
