JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Product Creation Asst (研发助理)

Location: Suzhou

Reports To: Head of Regional Technical Center

Dotted line to: None

Responsibility:

(- Test and compare products - mechanical testing, application testing, chemical testing

- Write test reports

- Develop and set up new test methods

- Using different test equipment - Tensile test machine, Saltspray tester, microscope

- Build mock-ups and prototypes, e.g. from wood, metal, plastic or textiles

- Transfer products from idea stage to prototype stage to production

- Communicate with suppliers/vendors on products, materials or equipment

- International communication - this is not a primary task, but might nevertheless happen.

Qualification:

- Mechanical Engineering Background

- Technical education, preferred engineering

- English knowledge, CET4 might be enough

- hands on approach - should be able and willing to work with his hands in the lab
