Role Description

The role of Sales/Business Manager will be responsible for potential customer developing, also work with management to organizing design resource and be responsible for customer relationship, transferring design requirements and expectations from customer into industrial design. Customer’s developing, relationship management expectations and overall design quality control with high customer satisfaction is the focus.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for potential customer developing.
2. Responsible for potential customer and existing customer’s relationship management and control. Provide sales and marketing support internally and externally
3. Participate in preparation for SOW of the industrial design to fulfill the assigned project requirements.
4. Resource estimation during new business review and contract negotiation.
5. Work closely with another function in IC, analyze and capture marketing requirements & tends, customer requirements, competitor intelligence.
Coordinate cross functions communication
6. Deeper understanding of industrial design evolution
7. Design sales and marketing skills
8. Business Negotiation skills

Competencies Required

1. Several years of professional experience in terms of industrial design
2. Undergraduate degree in design or related discipline
3. Masters degree in management, design management, economics
4. 1~3 years in customer facing role
5. Relative sales and marketing skills
6. Commercial knowledge (Know how concerning industrial design related product and process cost aspects)
7. Fluency in both written and spoken English
8. Good presentation and communication skill, Professional in documentation
9. Ability of Analyze; Team Skills; Initiative; Organization and Quality Orientation
10.Good strategic and tactical view in industrial design.
