Description of Program

CLP is a great opportunity for entry-level engineers to use their technical knowledge in a challenging commercial environment. It combines on-the-job training and formal coursework to provide program members with the framework to best understand GE Security commercial strategy.

 24-month program of 3 challenging rotational assignments in Security/Fire alarm Sales; Marketing; Tech Support
 Formal classroom training in marketing, sales and business concepts
 Extensive contact with peers and senior level business leaders from around the world

Summer Intern Assignment

Work in Security commercial Team and give support to the commercial team.

1. Identify and develop new customers and influence customers in brand decision.
2. Work with sales team and give support to the 1~2 projects
3. Work as sales assistant, provide commercial support to the sales team
4. Collect market information and carry on marketing data analysis

Qualifications Required

• Preferred Majors: Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Computer Science; Communication; mechanical, automation
• Bachelor or Master Degree to be expected next year
• Good commend of English
• Mature and committed; Self discipline
• Excellent academic Record
• Demonstrated Leadership Experience
• Analytical Ability
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Program Summary

Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) OMLP is an ideal program for engineers with the energy and drive to deliver world-class manufacturing processes.
OMLP accelerates the development of entry-level talent and produces leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Operations function at GE.

• Intensive 2-2 1/2 year program with at least 3 rotational assignments
• Mentoring, teamwork, ongoing reviews and defined deliverables
• Experience the entire supply chain, state of-the-art manufacturing methods, and sourcing practices through structured course work and practical application.

Summer Intern JD:

Work with Quality team to improve Final Assemble Quality..
• Identify 1 low OQC(Outgoing Quality Check) PPM FA lines
• Break down quality CTQs, and verify the current quality check point
• Leading line quality improvement event with Operators, Line leaders and Engineers
• Implement quality improvement actions such as Lean PokeYoke


Candidate Criteria

• Academic excellence, business acumen and demonstrated leadership ability
• Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills
• Global mindset; able to operate across cultures
• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, mechanical, automation or a technical discipline
• Strong commitment to a career in Operations Management
