South Pole Carbon Asset Management Ltd. is a dynamic start-up company working in the field of global climate change. We source, develop, manage and operate projects that reduce greenhouse gases with a strong focus on projects with Gold Standard quality. We are one of the leading suppliers in the carbon market. South Pole Ltd. has offices in Zurich (head office), Bangkok and Beijing.

South Pole team members come from a wide range of backgrounds. We all share the passion for high quality emission reduction projects combined with an entrepreneurial spirit. To take our business to the next level we look for qualified and self-motivated individuals from various backgrounds.

Qualifications and Skills
Your role at South Pole will be flexible and based on your qualifications and experience. The general requirements are:
- Masters degree in engineering, renewable energy, evironmental sciences or
related degree
- Strong technical skills and experience in, or familiarity with the energy, waste or industrial sectors
- Interest in climate change policy and the carbon market
Skills (for both positions)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent Mandarin (native speaker preferred)
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Ability to manage own work effectively and prioritise tasks
- Good working knowledge of all Microsoft office applications
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
