Software Development Engineer

Can you program fast? Are you a generalist, equally able to code game
engines, embedded controllers, and data-driven web sites? Are you just as
comfortable in C# and C++ as you are in Scheme and Python? When asked to
program something you know absolutely nothing about, is your first thought “
how hard could it be?” Do you participate in coding challenges and the
demo scene in your spare time to overcome boredom at work?

If so, we have a rare opportunity for you. The Advanced Technology Center in
Beijing, China is looking to add a fantastic rapid prototyper to their
interaction design team. You will work on a multidisciplinary team of
artists, designers, programmers, and marketers to rapidly iterate on new
product ideas. For this role, it is all about how fast you can get a working
prototype in front of potential users. Actual projects may change on a
monthly or daily basis, so a nimble mind and a can-do attitude are key. You
should also be familiar with design principles and practices.

Requirements
· Masters in computer science (or equivalent experience)
· At least four years programming experience
· Excellent team work
· Self-directed learning
· Work experience that shows a breadth of capability

Bonuses
· Working knowledge of English and Mandarin Chinese a plus
· Prior experience in game development and AJAX a plus
