Polycom is extending its R&D activities in China. At this position, you will be part of a global team and work side by side with design teams in US. You will gain access to Polycom technologies and contribute to video endpoint products. We will start from developing new features for existing products. As we build up this virtual team, more responsibilities will be given. You will work with senior engineers with oversea track of records at companies like Polycom, NorTel, and Microsoft.
We are hiring a couple of high calibre Interns to fill up the backbone of the team. Successful internship will lead to full time positions.
1. Comm/UI Internship position:
(1) Bachelors degree in computer science or highly related field
(2) Can take full time internship for one year
(3) experienced with C/C++ or Java development
(4) familiar with networked devices and TCP/IP protocol stack
(5) willingness to work across software layers and learn many different tools and technologies
(6) ready to make commitments and have"can do" attitude
(7) good English skills
(8) good interpersonal skills
2. QA Internship position:
(1) Bachelors degree in computer science or highly related field
(2) Can take full time internship for one year plus
(3) familar with bug tracking systems and understand bug life cycle
(4) good at writing test cases and reporting test results
(5) familiar with networked devices and can test/debug in complex network environment
(6) long term career plan on QA rank
(7) detail-oriented and strong analytical and problem solving skills
(8) good English communication skills
