The Swire General Management Summer Internship Programme
The Programme The aim of the Programme is to provide opportunities for a selected number of outstanding students who are passionate in joining the Swire Group and to understand our businesses through hands-on experience.
The Programme commences in July 2008 with a duration of 6 – 8 weeks depending on projects involved. Selected candidates will go through a comprehensive induction programme to gain a better understanding of the Swire’s core business values, its structure as well as its latest developments. They will be posted to one of our group companies including Swire Properties Limited and Cathay Pacific Airways Limited to work on a specific business related project in Hong Kong. We offer formal mentoring
and performance feedback to help you prepare for your future corporate life.
Satisfactory completion of the Programme enables the candidate to gain screening exemptions to The Swire (Hong Kong) Management Trainee Programme 2009.
Requirements
We welcome candidates who are
• determined and want to develop a long-term career and are interested in joining

• motivated and want to learn more about diversified businesses;
Qualifications
• Second or final year undergraduates / postgraduates, any discipline
• Right of Abode in Hong Kong SAR
Salary
• We offer competitive market salary for the Programme.
• For reference, the 2007 monthly salary was HK$6,500
