We are expanding. AOL China Publishing Content Technology Group is looking for talented web development engineers and interns in Beijing. We have various resources inside AOL such as news data, blog data, tagging data, review data, image data, video data, map data, and search engine related data. These engineers /interns will be working with teams (local and global) to deliver compelling, highly automated web content analysis technology to various products within AOL. They will participate in the architecture, design, and development of advanced web content analysis technologies. They must be highly adaptive, creative and open-mined with the ability to engineer at the product level. They must have strong passion to technologies and internet product development. The following are the qualification requirements.

1. Web Application Engineer [FTE]
• BS degree or above in related areas
• Developing backend and/or frontend of web applications
• Strong technical background and experience in web software design/development projects
• Experience with Java and web development environments is a must
• Coding experience with C/C++ is a must
• Experience on Windows development related to COM, ActiveX is preferred
• Experience on multiple thread coding on Windows/Unix/Linux platform using C/C++ is preferred
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix is highly desirable
• Fluent in technical English reading and writing, oral English capability is a plus

2. Content Analysis Engineer [FTE]
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering
• Creative and with passion about new technology and application
• More than 2-years of Java Programming Experiences
• Experiences with information extraction, DOM, HTML and XML
• Experiences with VERY large database ORACLE preferred
• Text analysis and data mining knowledge such as classification and clustering is preferred
• Solid data structure and algorithm background
• Fluent in technical English reading and writing, oral English capability is a plus

3. Search Engine Engineer [FTE]
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering
• More than 2-years of Java Programming Experiences
• Strong analysis and autonomous problem discovery and solving skills.
• Familiar and experiences with search engine core (relevance and ranking)
• Solid data structure and algorithm background
• Experiences working in Linux
• Search engine optimization and NLP knowledge are preferred
• Experiences in distributed system is a plus
• Experiences with SOLR or LUECEN is preferred
• Creative and with passion about new technology and application
• Fluent in technical English reading and writing, oral English capability is a plus.

4. NLP [Full Time Intern]
• First or second year graduates and can work for long term (at least 3 months)
• Major in Computational Linguistic/NLP /CS/math
• Experiences with Chinese Content Processing, word segmentation.
• More than 2-years of Java Programming Experiences
• Creative and with passion about new technology and application
