Position Description:
Works as an embedded SW researcher. Design and development of firmware and application system software on embedded platforms with a team of other device creation experts. Programming & development of embedded software/firmware systems, in conjunction with hardware product development. Establishes a good internal and external communication network and contributes to demonstrator creation & scientific discussions. Generates innovative solutions and applies patents. Ensures global benchmarking and technology map creation & maintenance. New solution creation internally and with universities and partners. Coaches and supports others in research projects.


Qualifications:
- Experience on embedded Linux，Symbian/S60 and/or WinCE operating systems, C and C++ language and real-time application development.

- Experience on embedded OS components, such as device driver, file system, kernel modules, network, inter-process communication and multimedia devices.

- Experience on software architecture for embedded systems and system level software solutions for ARM-based embedded system. Experience on NoTA (Network on Terminal Architecture) is an advantage.

- Experience in firmware/application development on embedded processors. Ability to develop application program on real-time OS. Excellent software debugging skills. System architecture design and documentation.

- Understanding of HW architectures, HW/SW partitioning and DSP is an advantage.
- Master or Ph.D. degree in computer science or electronics engineering.
- 4 to 6 years of working experience in embedded software development.
- Good command of English both in speaking and writing.
