Position: Assistant Sourcing Manager采购经理助理 Number of recruits: 1 Contract type: full time one year contract Deadline of application: 15 April 2008 Place of work: based in Beijing/Dalian, with frequent travel to other places in China and some travels to UK. Minimum requirements: University education;l Fluent speaking and writing English, with technical language capability preferred. Strong independent working capabilities and initiatives; Good interpersonal skills Willing to travel frequently when required; Knowledge about metal material, mechanical fabrication, welding or anticorrosive coating. Ability to learn quickly how to read engineering drawings and codes Responsibilities: To track and control supplier's manufacturing progress; progress report should be produced and submitted to the UK office on time; To carry out quality inspection during manufacturing progress and before shipping, to ensure no defective products could be released for shipment; To ensure the suppliers' manufacturing processes are in compliance with specified procedures; To finding out the root causes of quality or delivery problem, if occurs, and propose solutions; To expedite delivery and arrange shipping, when necessary, to ensure that products are shipped on time; Collect and analyze raw material market information and other related industries information.
