Position A: Post-doctoral Research Fellow
Working Period: September 2008 - August 2009
Work Place: Department of Electronic Engineering, The Chinese University of
Hong Kong
Supervisor: Prof. King N. Ngan
Requirements:
1. Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science/Computer
Engineering/Applied Mathematics or related disciplines.
2. Have solid background in image/video processing and computer vision.
3. Must have research experience in image/video segmentation, multi-view
video processing and free-veiwpoint TV.
4. Good C++ programming skills is highly desirable, plus familiarity with
computer vision libraries (e.g., Open CV) is an added advantage.

Work Place: Department of Electronic Engineering, The Chinese University of
Hong Kong.
Supervisor: Prof. King N. Ngan
Requirements:
1. Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science/Computer
Engineering/Information Engineering or related disciplines.
2. Have solid background in high-definition video processing.
3. A detailed understanding of the state-of-the-art subjective models and
the latest subjective quality evaluation standards.
4. Familiarity with the new video compression algorithms and standards
including H.264, AVS, etc.
5. Good C++ programming skills is highly desirable.
