BU Introduction
IBM Data Studio is a comprehensive data management solution that empowers you to effectively design, develop, deploy and manage your data, databases and database applications throughout the entire application development life cycle utilizing a common, flexible and intuitive user interface. IBM Data Studio consists of the whole bunch of sub-products providing the powerful functionality of Java Database Application Development, Monitoring, Management and Problem Determination. Curt Cotner, IBM Fellow and CTO for Data Servers, is leading on this new IBM strategy.
CSDL Data Studio database tools development team now has about 20 developers and QA. We are focus on providing sub-product for RDBMS optimization and performance tuning, involving deep knowledge in RDBMS engine SQL processing and technology.
Job Responsibilities
The team leads all design, development and QA works related to this sub-product. We are looking for senior developers for the core component design and implementation. He will work closely with IBM world wide database teams and gain extensive knowledge about all kinds of IBM databases.
Job Requirements (skills/experiences):
- Professional skills in databases administration and application development,
- Professional programming skills in Java development,
- Professional skills in OO design and implementation,
- Proficient in common algorithms and data structure,
- Familiar with SQL, stored procedure will be a big plus.
Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates):
- Master degree in Computer Science or related ones.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Excellent communication skill
- Self-motivated team player
- Quick learner
