Software Engineer I

This experienced software engineer will participate in the software development process for enhancing the accessibility framework on the Linux desktop. A willingness to learn and ask questions, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to focus on problem resolution are required. This position will work with the development, testing, and documentation teams to develop and test high-quality products.

Required Skills:
* Bachelors degree in CS/EE or equivalent and 2-3 years related work experience
* Experience developing in C* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* GNOME development experience
* Ability to work independently as well as on a team

Preferred Skills:
* Knowledge of Atk
* CORBA experience
* D/BUS Experience
* Accessibility experience
* Knowledge of Linux desktop technologies
* Experience with Autotools
* COM experience
* MSAA familiarity
* C++ development experience


Software Engineer II
This experienced software engineer will participate in the software development process for enhancing the accessibility framework on the Linux desktop. Software Developer Quality Assurance

responsibilities:
-----------------
* timely definition, documentation and implementation of tests in
cooperation with the engineering teams, SUSE labs and partners
* self-responsible development of test software in order to test new
technologies
* actively maintenance and improvements of existing test tools
* timely execution of test plans and test cases

qualifications:
---------------
* knowledge of at least 2 scripting/interpreter languages (Perl, bash,
python,...)
* good linux skills (no newbies ;)
* understanding of debugging tools
* good English skills (focusing on written English)
* knowledge of a non x86/x86-64 platform is a plus (but no must)

Organisational:

the position is opened in the Quality Assurance department, you will be
reporting to the corresponding engineering manager.
