GSK offers internship opportunities during the summer to college students that are currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate or Ph.D level degree program.
The Summer Talent Identification Program (STIP) is designed to recruit and hire top quality interns to feed the talent pipeline for GSK. These opportunities are available at our China R&D center in Z-J Park, Pudong, Shanghai.
We focus on identifying high-quality, challenging internships and recruiting the very best candidates to fill these positions. This program provides students opportunities to become familiar with lab work style and culture in the world’s leading research-based pharmaceutical and healthcare company.
Areas include:
Interns will be distributed to different departments or groups and dive into drug R&D in the following areas:
Neurodegeneration and Neuroinflammation
Molecular and cell biology
Stem cell Research
Medicinal Chemistry
Organic Chemistry
Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics
Pharmacology
Student Qualifications:
Interns will be selected based on their application and demonstrated interest in Science and Discovery with pharmaceutical industry
Interns come from undergraduate or graduate students(including Doctor candidates) of leading universities & institutes in China or aboard
Students with work experience in their major area of study including previous internships and/or academic lab experience are preferred
Interns should have good grade and team spirit.
Program Guidelines
Recruitment begins in April for the following summer.
STIP will run 6-12 weeks from May through August.
All STIP positions are paid internships.
Qualified candidates must meet the criteria set above.
