Position: J2ME Mobile Game Developer

Responsibilities:
. Reporting to the lead developer and working with the Producer to develop video games for mobile handsets in J2ME
. Working to schedules and hitting milestones
. Actively participate in generating ideas for games, features and development methods
. Improve development environment by working with the internal tools team
. Focus on end user satisfaction
. Work as part of the team in its search to continuously improve game quality

In short, the J2ME developer is responsible for developing games using J2ME technologies according to the design document and direction given by the Game Producer.

Requirements, Qualifications and Experience:
.Understanding of the key issues surrounding mobile game development
. Critical understanding and enjoyment of a wide variety of game genres
. Good verbal communication, writing and presentation skills
. Assertiveness and confidence
. Flexibility and adaptability with a desire to learn
. Ability to work independently on tasks with little supervision
. Keen interest in computer gaming
. Ability to demonstrate game development experience with J2ME (should have demos to prove it)
. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years experience as a mobile video game developer
