二、招聘职位 Position 1: 4G Simulation System Designer (Work Location: Guangzhou)
Responsibility: This is a system designer role to contribute to the 4G simulation deliverables The major responsibilities of this role would be - 4G simulator development including simulator functional architecture, libraries - 4G simulation algorithms development, define and derive technical requirements based on feature contents and customer requirements. - Development of the verification procedures and test cases in order to validate compliance to requirements. - Conduct simulations and provide analysis and recommendations based on simulation results to feed into product design, standards, and customers. - Provide systems design input (requirements, algorithms, procedures, guidelines) to SW designers - Assist in the creation and review of Design Effort (DE). - Author and reviewer of technical documentation/report of the domain ownership area.
Requirements: • Masters or Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering • Expert in broadband wireless communications, with emphasis on 4G (WiMax, LTE, UMB) technologies: OFDMA, MIMO, turbo coding, signaling processing, advance receiver techniques, advanced antenna techniques is preferred • Excellent technical knowledge in wireless protocols: Physical, MAC, and upper layers is preferred. • Expertise in wireless simulations and modeling: channel models, mobility, performance/capacity evaluation, algorithm development. • Fluent spoken English and good writing skill, CET-6 is preferred • Digital Comm theory, channel coding, channel estimation, Filtering & Detection, Queuing, Network and Probability theory, Random processes and Signal Processing. • Experience (either academic or industrial) in algorithm development is required. Previous use of OPNET, SPW, Matlab, and C or C++ is preferred. • Experience in DSP software development & implementation is highly desirable. • Strong problem solving and analytical skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills and work effectively across multi-functional teams
Position 2: 4G Simulation SW Tech Lead (Work Location: Guangzhou)
Responsibility: This is a senior SW design role to lead and drive the 4G simulation activities The major responsibilities of this role would be -4G Simulation software development planning based on the requirements from 4G system design teams, developing and capturing the derived technical Requirements for the projects. - Lead and drive simulation SW development including simulator software architecture, dimensioning, platform evolution, scalability, functional libraries, and SW integrations. - Lead the development of High level design of new component or enhancement to existing components in the domain ownership area. - Lead the development of the verification document and the overall test strategy of the sw features that impact owned domain in order to validate compliance to requirements. - Act as the point of contact interacting with multiple functional teams for requests to review project deliverables - Assist in the creation and review of Design Effort (DE). - Advise, mentor and train other sw designers working in the domain. - Oversee and approve the design and code changes in the domain ownership area. - Define and set-up the simulator’s development environment including version controls in partnership with the NA sw tech lead - Establish the code templates for 4G algorithm development - Maintain up-to-date technical documentation of the domain ownership area. - Key reviewer and approver of all sw design Documentations relating to the owned domain
Requirements: • Master or Ph.D. degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering • Expert in complex software feature development, software architecture, software tool, as well as software project management • Excellent technical knowledge in software development. Experience in loadbuild, SW development environment set-up. Knowing clearcase for version control. • Fluent spoken English and good writing skill, CET-6 is preferred • Strong process focus • Configuration management expertise • Release & deployment experience (e.g. install shield, automatic updates) • Preferred knowledge in physical, MAC and application level simulations with experience in simulation work breakdown and programs. • Experience in DSP software development & implementation is highly desirable. • Knowledge of wireless communication theory, signal processing, call processing, & mobility is an asset • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills • Highly motivated and takes initiative • Ability to make objective decisions
