Position : Logistics Coordinator --Intern

Responsibilities:
1. Review Sales Notification for errors and policy adherence, and place into production.
2. Communicate with Sourcing to ensure production and shipping are going as scheduled and respond to all e-mails and faxes in a thorough and timely manner.
3. Communicate with customers, sales, accounting and sourcing for orders tracing.
4. Communicate with carrier for shipping status if necessary.
5. Prepare inventory vouchers and warehouse reports for accounting purposes.
6. Communicate with warehouse vendors regarding the quantity, status and handling of all products.
7. Review inventory reports and monitor status to avoid and/or minimize storage charges.
8. Verify and approve all invoices warehouses and truckers in addition to monitoring operational costs.
9. Responsible for creating reports as requested.
10. Responsible for all claims which involve the product.
11. Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:
1. College degree preferred.
2. Must be a self-starter requiring little or no supervision, possess excellent organizational skills, and exhibit a high level of attention to detail and accuracy with all work.
3. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize assignments, solve problems, and meet deadlines.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team oriented atmosphere.
5. The candidate should also have excellent oral and written communication skills.
6. Should possess highly proficient customer service skills, and be proficient in spreadsheets, database management software and MS Word.
