We have an immediate full-time researcher position to be filled (by early June 2008) under a well funded research project in NTU to develop a microfluidic/bioMEMS instrument. The project will be conducted in BioMEMS Lab, School of MAE, NTU in Singapore. The successful applicants will have a good exposure to a multi-displinary R&D environment in microfluidics and bioMEMS, microfabrication, biomedical instrument design, water bio-monitoring, and molecular diagnostics.
The position is open to degree holdres with a bachelor, master or PhD degree. He/she should have ONE or more of the following experiences:
- a good publication record to demonstrate independent research ability and leadership.
- Microfluidics, MEMS fabrication or bioMEMS, DEP cell sorting
- optics, optical fiber based optical instrument design.
- Instrument/device design and development
- fluid mechanics and thermal engineering
- proficient in design software (SolidWorks, Pro/E)
- proficient in Englishm, both spoken and written.
