Subject to the terms, exclusions, limits and conditions contained in this policy and schedule, which are based on the proposal and declaration, and further subject to the payment of premium, Petrovietnam Insurance Joint Stock Corporation (PVI) (hereinafter called"the Insurer") agrees to indemnify the insured up to but not exceeding in the aggregate.

The Indemnity stated in the schedule (or any sum or sums which the Insured may become legally liable to pay arising from any claim or claims being first made against him during the period stated in the schedule as a direct result of any negligent act, error or omission (committed or alleged to have been committed during the policy period and retroactive period, if any) in the conduct and execution of the activities or the insured or his employees defined in the schedule;
