Cincinnati, USA based company has an immediate opening for an Inspector – Metallurgist in the Yancheng City area. Some travel will be required.
Description: Product inspection and review of supplier quality control and manufacturing processes and procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to: Product inspection, Supplier process audits, Manufacturing and Foundry Processes, Monitoring supplier quality system and processes, Weld procedure and NDE qualification review, Follow up of corrective actions, Assist in implementation and monitoring of process improvements, Provide weekly activity reports such as product inspection and audit reports in English language
Requirements: 2 year associate degree in a Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or equal. Must have Metallurgy experience and Foundry experience. NDE certification to ASNT SNT-TC-IA and auditor training desired. Experience in machining, welding (ASME Section IX), ISO 9001 quality systems, American valve and material specifications (ASME, MSS, ASTM) desired. Must be able to read, write, and speak English language.
