Description
Work in a newly established R&D center with a dynamic, stimulating environment, competitive compensation and plenty of opportunities to grow professionally. Join a team with an exciting opportunity to work on cutting edge 802.11n wireless technology that will be applied to various Thomson access products. Work very closely with the RF team to design and develop software that controls 802.11n chipset to provide the best system performance. Help integrate the 802.11n chipset and the software modules to Thomson access products such as modems and set-top-boxes and build applications that take full advantage of the 802.11n capability of the devices.
Education and Skills
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline (Masters preferred).
-3+ years (5+ for senior) of professional software design and development experience in an embedded environment
- 2+ years (3+ for senior) of strong experience and expertise in Linux.
-Strong experience in writing device drivers is a plus
-Experience in WiFi driver development, experience with 802.11n is a strong plus
-Good communication skills in English
