Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must be familiar with Linux/Solaris Operating System
- In-depth knowledge of driver development experience on Unix/Linux
- 3+ years C/C++ language experience
- Must have knowledge in software development process
- Must have good communication and teamwork skills
- Solid experience on development tools, such as ant, log4j, junit, xdoclet
- Knowledge in OSS/BOSS of telecom is a plus
- Java/J2EE(EJB, JNDI, XML and Java security architecture) experience preferred
- Experience of JACL is a plus
- Experience of using application server(Websphere, SJAS) is a plus
- Script language (Perl, Shell, etc) experience is a plus
- Good documentation and writing skills
- Strong self-motivation

Other requirements:

Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Ability to influence technical managers and software developers.

Education:

transfers, next generation interrupt framework development, and
development of the IO fault management architecture.

Required knowledge:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Prior
course-work in Software Programming, Operating System design and
Computer architecture.
Must have strong C programming language skills.

Preferred knowledge:
Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Prior experience developing device drivers or operating system

Familiar with Intel microprocessor architecture, IO bus (such as PCI), and hardware device operations (such as DMA, interrupts, control registers, etc.)
Good experience to identify performance bottlenecks and improve system performance.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
