Position: Client Services Associate

Description:
AIR is the worlds leading provider of catastrophe risk estimation software
and services. We have offices or subsidiaries in Boston, San Francisco,
London, Munich, and Beijing. The companies that rely on AIR products to
assess and manage their risk include insurers, reinsurers, investment banks,
major corporations, energy companies, governments and utilities. As a member
of our Bejing Office,team, you will support and service our suite of
products, including our catastrophe risk assessment software applications and
our catastrophe risk analysis services. You will use your knowledge of
statistics and financial models to assist our clients in the use of AIR risk
management software solutions.

Main responsibilities, but not limited to:
" Develop and maintain expertise in our products and services
" Provide prompt and knowledgeable support to our clients by telephone
and, when appropriate, by on-site visits
" Troubleshoot and solve client software problems
" Assist in coordinating and installing software updates and releases
" Participate in AIR conferences
" Design and deliver training to our clients at our offices and theirs
" Travel to client offices in the China region
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
" Strong analytical and quantitative skills and a solid understanding
of probability concepts
" Excellent problem solving skills and a commitment to client services
" Self-motivated, quick learner, with good organizational and time
management skills
" Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be
comfortable working in a team environment
Requirements:
" BS or MS in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science,
Engineering, or another analytical discipline
" MBA or MS Management is a plus
" 2+ years of progressive business experience and 1+ year of risk
modeling experience is a definite advantage
" Working knowledge of SQL Server or other database applications a plus
" Experience in technical consulting or technical software support.
" Experience with Microsoft? Office required
" Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, with fluency in English a plus
" Some experience with Windows? NT/2000 and Internet
