IT Service Desk Analyst Role

The IT Service Desk provides
a) 24/7 , 1st level English Language support for the clients desktop/notebook/Dumb Terminal on a mixed Windows environment ,Unix ,Linux operating systems.
b) This includes creating/resetting account passwords , Remote troubleshooting software such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Xls etc) , Antivirus, Internet Explorer, MS Project, MS Visio, etc and other Customer Applications ..It also involves trouble shooting of Network Issues..
c) Assign and categorization of Tickets logged in the system
d) Complete ownership of the Incidents raised through the Service Desk .
e) Collaboration with other IT team to ensure resolving of IT Tickets.
f) Single Point of Contact to End Users
g) Support provided to customer would be via Voice, Email and Web.
h) Remotely Resolve a Minimum of 70% of the total incidents Logged into the Service Center.

Skills Required:
a) 1-2 years of relevant experience in a Technical Support Role.
b) Working Knowledge of Operating Systems such as Windows 9x, XP, NT, 2000l etc
c) Net Typing speed of 30 words with 85% - 90% plus accuracy.
d) Must be able to speak fluent English and Must possess excellent writing and comprehension English skills with Excellent Customer Service Skills
e) Experience in trouble shooting PC Hardware Basic
f) Experience in Trouble Shooting OS, Mail and Applications remotely.
g) Fresh graduates with relevant working experience or internship are encouraged to apply.
