Individual will be responsible for performing general system administration tasks. This includes day to day support activities and assisting lab managers on projects. Must be capable of working in a dynamic lab environment with software developers. Individual will assist with system installations, reconfigurations and support issues. Good verbal and written skills required. Some lifting up to 65 lbs. and racking of computer hardware required
Must have working knowledge of UNIX operating systems (Solaris preferred). Basic understanding of networks and storage devices. Solaris system administration, Network and Storage Administration knowledge preferred. Computer hardware troubleshooting a plus.
