Young Professionals for our Trainee Program
focused in assume as our main Trader in Shanghai
Our Company, leader supplier of raw materials and specialties in Latin America is searching for young professionals to work in our Representative Office in Shanghai.
Qualifications:
- Coming from or related to careers such us : Business Administration, International Business, Engineering, Chemistry or similar
- Full English in reading, writing and speaking is a must. Some knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
Skills & Attributes:
- Possess good sourcing and negotiation skills.
- Must have ability to independently plan and complete work assignment.
- Be available to live in Latin America if necessary during the training period.
- Good relationships and communication abilities.
- Good mathematical and computer skills.
Accountability:
This position will directly report to general manager of Shanghai Office and functionally reports to purchasing director of headquarter.
Qualifications:
1.Must have a college degree or above, preferably in technical field such as Chemistry or Chemical Engineering;
2.Have FLUENT English, in reading, writing and speaking.
3.Have experience in purchasing management of Chemicals, know basic international trade practices.
4.Must possess good sourcing and negotiation skills;
5.Must have ability to independently plan and complete work assignment;
6.Must be confident in speaking well Mandarin with good high level language. Fluency of Cantonese will be a bigger advantage.
7.Good Mathematical skills
8.Good computer skills (MS word, Excel and Power Point). Knowledge of ERP implementation is a plus.
Main Responsibilities
1.Work closely with general manager to ensure business needs and delivery on time;
2.Identify alternative supply sources to provide a necessary competitive environment, with approval from Technical groups;
3.Keep up good relationship with current suppliers;
4.Collect price information and process market research works;
5.Set and manage processes to ensure import and export documentation is managed to meet required regulatory requirements;
6.Other responsibilities assigned by general manager.
