Technical Support Consultant for Knowledge Productization Services (KPS)
Area
Within SAP, the Knowledge Productization Services (KPS) organization industrializes knowledge production, pushes innovation in knowledge transfer, and productizes experience-based knowledge.
Tasks
As a member of the KPS team, your primary areas of responsibility will be the operations, maintenance, and support of the different systems and delivery platforms that are used to deliver our Knowledge Transfer Products (KTPs) and documentation to customers, partners, and SAP employees.
As part of your day-to-day work, you will actively analyze and enhance the current infrastructure, tool landscape, and production processes. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery services in order to support potential new business.
The wide range of responsibilities includes:
· Providing production and delivery services within our Knowledge Transfer Infrastructure
o Creation and monitoring of content transports
o Export and production of documentation for SAP products
o Maintenance of relevant process documentation
o Administration of different delivery platforms, such as the SAP Help Portal (<

o Analyzing technical problems and weaknesses and providing timely and efficient solutions in complex landscapes
· Support for the content developers, based in different locations, who work with our Knowledge Transfer Infrastructure
o Provide technical support
o Execute knowledge transfer activities
o Interface to different development organizations
Requirements
§ Relevant university degree.
§ Basic project management skills.
§ Professional experience with one or more of the following technologies:
o Java, JavaScript, Visual Basic
o HTML, XML, DTD, XML-FO, XSLT
o SQL, PHP, and other database application layers
§ Experience with Content Management Systems and / or Learning Management Systems would be useful.
§ Good analytical and problem-solving skills in order to methodically approach any issue and provide a timely solution.
§ Excellent ability to communicate in English (written and spoken) and to share your knowledge with others.
§ You appreciate working in an international, dynamic, and virtual team.
§ You are highly motivated to provide solutions and work independently with a strong service-orientation to customers and partners.
§ You are flexible, open to innovation, and understand business needs.
