Japanese Language Specialist Web Analyst - Multiple Openings
Summary
• Under general supervision, finds, reviews, categorizes and enters Internet pages/sites/addresses into BrightCloud’s proprietary database.
Essential Functions:
• Categorizes lists of Internet sites.
• Finds new sites for categorization.
• Accurately categorizes sites.
• Accurately enters sites into the database.
• Able to enter sites at a rapid rate.
Qualifications:
• Must be fluent in Japanese reading
• Must be conversant in English
• Interested in learning about computer and internet related issues and technologies
• Technical familiarity with Microsoft Internet Explorer and the Internet
• Intermediate knowledge of computer software, hardware and peripherals
• Knowledge of, and experience with Microsoft Windows
• Ability to meet deadlines
Duties and Responsibilities:
• The Web Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing various types of web sites, with the goal of categorizing web sites using a BrightCloud provided tool (the Web Analyst Application) into the BrightCloud Master Database. Under the direction of the BrightCloud manager, the Web Analyst will categorize lists of URLs provided by the manager on a timely basis and email the output from the Web Analyst Application to the BrightCloud manager.
• The hours required and work location are flexible, although at least 20 hours per week are required (exam weeks and the weeks for term paper due dates excepted).
