KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist team manager in the creation and production of general and event-specific corporate marketing collaterals and PR activities. In charge of managing & monitoring the stock of marketing collaterals and the COMMS archive.
2. Prepare & implement promotional mailings in coordination with team manager.
3. Conduct market research as required, and bring in own thoughts & initiatives.
4. Be part of the corporate web & content translation team:
a) Write/translate various company documents & marketing collaterals. Release after approval from team manager. Provide content translation (EN > CN).
b) Update website content in the CMS (ENCN), translate (EN > CN) and ensure content according to work flow.
5. Update event database and manage event preparation (both domestic & international industry events). Work with team manager to identify speech opportunities for CEO & other mgt. team members and place suitable speakers.
6. Provide administrative support to team manager and, occasionally, CEO. Follow up other tasks assigned, e.g. back-up for reception or other emergencies.
NOTE: this position offers you the opportunity to manage projects such as surveys, production of posters, etc. on your own. It is ideal for someone who wants to take on responsibility, grow their professional skills, and has a lot of initiative.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
1. Junior or senior student in Marketing, English or other relevant subjects.
2. Strong interest in technology. Previous experience in the IT industry preferred.
3. Good language skills EN/CN => able to translate EN > CN and vice-versa
4. Proficient MS Office user (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
5. Fast thinker; good understanding of service industry required
6. Ambitious, willing to take on responsibility, excellent work attitude.
7. Strong communication and organizational skills.
