Job Title: Software Engineer – Endpoint Security Agent Team
Main Responsibilities:
Endpoint Security team is responsible for fixing the customer defects and developing Symantec Endpoint Protection in Windows.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Assist Project Manager and Technology Architect preparing detailed requirements for projects based on high-level requirements
• Get involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle from designing to coding, and supporting releases, and implement work packages to specification, on time and to quality expectations.
• Attend and contribute to Peer Reviews
• Be able to provide responses to customers enquiries.
Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• At least 2 years of software development experience.
• C++ experience in a commercial environment.
• Exposure to software engineering project life cycles and processes.
• Good verbal and written English skills
• Team player, delivery focused, good communication skills
Preferred:
• Experience of working on Windows drivers development.
• Experience within industry standards relating to network protocols.
• Basic knowledge of existing Network Access Control protocols such as PEAP, TLS, etc.
• C# experience in a commercial environment
• MSI experience in a commercial environment
• Work experience in a related international environment
